Host to an annual Yarnfest

Situated at the northern end of the Blackall Range, Mapleton village adjoins the Mapleton National Park where picnickers delight in the rainforest surrounds.

The spectacular Mapleton Falls plunge off the western escarpment and into the Mary Valley - a sight you can safely view from the platform provided.

Mapleton also hosts an annual Yarn Festival where the arts of the Bush Balladeer and associated skills are celebrated in style !
