Maleny perches on the Blackall Range amongst rolling hills and valleys. The highest point in this spectacular region is 549 metres (1,800 feet) above sea level from which a 360-degree view can be obtained to the coast, Moreton and Bribie Islands, the Glass House Mountains and other provinces.

First settled in the 1870’s, Maleny has a community of over 3,000 People with many craft and variety shops, and local artists – Maleny is a place where everyone can see the tranquillity of green hills.

The forested, dairy-farming area of Maleny abuts the unique The Glasshouse Mountains.
